Preparing
Check that your devices support the Airplay[1] function. To connect iPhone to TV wirelessly by Airplay, you need:
Turn on your Apple TV and TV.
Connect your iPhone and Apple TV to the same Wi-Fi network.
Turn on Airplay on Apple TV.Part 2 of 3:
Using Airplay
Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone (running iOS 7, 8 ,9) screen to open Control Center.[2]
Tap Airplay to check the list of Airplay receivers.
Choose the name of your Apple TV from the list and tap "Done".
Return to the Home screen, and play the music, video, photo, or screen you want to stream, then they will be displayed on the TV screen.

Using Peer-to-Peer Airplay
To use peer-to-peer AirPlay, firstly make sure your devices meet the following requirements:
Connect your iPhone and Apple TV to Wi-Fi. With peer-to-peer AirPlay, your iOS device and Apple TV don't have to be on the same Wi-Fi network.

Turn on the Bluetooth on your iPhone.
Swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone (running iOS 7, 8 ,9) screen to open Control Center.[3]
Tap Airplay to check the list of Airplay receivers.
Choose the name of your Apple TV from the list and tap "Done".
Return to the Home screen. Play the music, video, photo, or screen you want to stream, then they will be displayed on the TV screen.
